Ultium Charge 360 From GM | Mission, TX

Ultium Charge 360 | Mission, TX

By 2025, General Motors will have debuted 30 new electric vehicles. That means charging infrastructure and processes will be on the minds of drivers across the globe.

That’s why GM is launching the new Ultium Charge 360, which allows drivers to use GM mobile apps to conveniently coordinate EV charging.

For example, using Ultium Charge 360, you will be able to find real-time information on nearly 60,000 chargers in the United States and Canada.  More specifically, you can locate charging stations on your route and pay from your phone, rather than using a credit or debit card.

In addition to charging on the go, GM is committed to helping drivers charge at home. That’s why the brand is paying to build a standard Level 2 charger in customers’ homes when they buy or leave a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV or Bolt EUV.

Expect increased charging infrastructure as a part of the automaker’s investments with a number of companies, including SemaConnect, FLO, Greenlots, ChargePoint, EV Connect, EVgo, and EV Connect. For reference, the partnership between GM and EVgo alone will lead to 2,700 public fast chargers by 2025. Already this year, the partnership has led to stations in Washington, Florida, and California with 500 targeted for the end of this year.
